Some of the clarity I got from the masterclass was that a lot of what has led me to where I am at right now is my own self neglect. My husband definitely has his issues as well. But I’ve been angry for so long at him because of his issues that I have not been focusing on my own issues. A few years ago, I did start realizing this, and started to work on myself after some coaches suggested the same thing. But I think I’m getting to some deeper stuff now. It’s interesting, and I’m seeing it now as this is where Allah needs me to focus. I understand I need to rely even more on Allah, as I tend to try to rely on myself-which creates anxiety, because obviously I can’t do that. I tend to get the lines blurred as to when I need to rely on Allah, and when it’s my part of doing the actions. So I think I need to reflect on that, see when and where I can take action for the issues, and rely on Allah more for the results. These changes have helped me in other areas of my life other than in my marriage. I have also worked with my younger son and tried to teach him what you have taught me about how your feelings come from your thought in the moment. [...] You’re helping me along and very difficult journey not so much as my guide that I follow but as someone to lean on when I need the support but you also have given me strength and showed me that I am strong enough to make this journey in the right direction. Love you ❤️
